Apparently, those who checked this site last night (11ish pm GMT+1) really digged our WEBCAST. Yes, it was a bit weird, but judging from the enthusiastic feedback, it was a nice idea after all... No titles or details were provided, so here's the setlist just in case you were wondering 'WTF was that?'

23 august 06 - late august cryptic update

Alrighty then, time for some studio report... SCENE MISSING [04] is currently in the works and it should be released within a month or so... However, it won't be FRANK GRIMES and the FLAMING JERKS as previously announced. The guys are just too busy with their summer/fall tour (we're regretfully unable to publish detailed photo reports of their recent shows, since most of the venues turned out to be masonic lodges and strip clubs - you guys'd have to see them!), and we had to find a valid substitute...... So the EP will basically feature tunes originally written by a great contemporary composer, re-arranged and performed by a 'not-so-worthy' SCENE MISSING artist - Sounds weird, huh?

REEKS is currently working on something really cool... some kind of audio/video set which, due to the disturbing visuals, won't be suitable for the faint-of-heart... hey man, just keep those damn worms under control, ok?;-)
DREXXELL is also working on something cool... his new tunes just sound great, hopefully he'll be playing some gigs this fall.... hey Dreksee, was it fun jamming with ***** ****'s drummer?;-)

06.06.06 - four years of longtermdamage......

Yeah, that's right, things got started on a warm evening in Barcelona four years ago, when ASMO, TEPS, and ANTICRACY (plus an extradimensional being called 'J.' which apparently prefers not to be mentioned further) decided to buy the domain, get the SCENE MISSING thing started, and waste some time on this. Two months later, it was all put online. An EP by Anticracy called 'Waiting for j. - 06.06.02' eventually came out that same year. While we still have to understand the importance of celebrating such an anniversary on such a day, we just wanted to thank all those who have helped us throughout the years: KARTE, PINTA (DOWNERS CLUB), JAZMINE, OKSANA, DINO, MULAZ. Also, BIGHEAD, SHINGO, DREXXELL, FIRE AT WORK, REEKS and all at HOMBRELOBO. And anyone else we may have forgotten.

No complete tracklist info yet - but we've been told that JAZMINE K_TEIS will be guest vocalist on 'HE HAPPENED TO LIKE HOOKERS', a nice downtempo tune which also features ANTICRACY on guitars. According to the guys, the EP will be a cool mixture of IDM, trip hop and electro-rock.

Looks like that's the one.......Ok, we're back from a non-stop 15-hour-trip, and we've had no sleep at all, so you will forgive us for reporting such sensless pieces of news..... It was well worth though. We really enjoyed that Electric Masada gig. Not to talk about the following late night dinner.............

25 april 05 - 'dark, atmospheric and claustrophobic......'

While surfing the 'net the other day, we stumbled upon several on-line vinyl stores listing SCENE MISSING releases in there stock. Most times our records were described as 'breakcore' , 'electro', 'IDM' and 'ambient'. Someone even called them 'hardcore'!. Of course, producing music that's not too easy to pigeon-hole is what our network's all about, so we're definitely happy to see our records fall into different categories. However, we found a site that provides detailed descriptions of the records in stock, and we particularly liked what they wrote about the SCENE MISSING stuff they have.
